There was a single gas station in cities across Franklin County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.77 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 15, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Franklin County was $2.81 per gallon.
Of the 27 reported gas stations in cities within Franklin County, five offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in Alabama was $2.79, compared to $2.80 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
