On Friday, March 21, former Sulligent High School standout Laura Leigh Wheeler’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Central Arkansas Bears.

The game took place at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium against Central Arkansas Bears.
