On Sunday, March 16, former Sulligent High School standout Laura Leigh Wheeler’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lipscomb Bisons.

The game took place at Draper Diamond. This was their third matchup against the Bisons this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium against Central Arkansas Bears.
