On Sunday, Feb. 16, former South Lamar School standout Nealy McManus’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisiana Tech Lady Bulldogs.

The game took place at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field. This was their first matchup against the Lady Bulldogs this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Eagle Field against Georgia Southern Eagles.
