Public Hearing: Case No. SD22-006 Gardner Street Storage Rezoning from R-2 to Special District
This is a request from John Parker and Michelle Donovan, on behalf of the property
owners, for approval of a change in the zoning district boundary of approximately 1.98
acres from R-2, Single Family Dwelling District to SD, Special District to allow for the
storage of recreational vehicles. The subject property is zoned R-2, Single Family Dwelling District, and located at 270 Gardner Street in the City of Montevallo; Parcel Identification No. 58-36-2-03-4-001-002.002.

• Recommendation to accept the bid of Landscape Additions of Central Alabama, LLC in the amount of $17,400.00 for restoration work along the creek bank in Orr Park, from MDCD Unallocated Funds.
• Recommendation to accept the bid of Glenn Contracting & Paving Co., Inc. in the amount of $20,045.00 for paving repairs on Pineview Road and Hidden Trace Court, from MDCD Unallocated Funds.
• Recommendation to accept price quote from Pinnacle Networx in the amount of $34,330.50 from the State of Alabama Bid List for 15 Dell Latitude Laptop Computers for Montevallo Police Department, from ARPA Funds.
• Recommendation to participate in the 2022 Back to School Sales Tax Holiday July 15 -17, 2022 under Montevallo Ordinance No. 06142021-322 an ordinance of the city of Montevallo, Alabama, to exempt certain “covered items” from the Municipal Sales and Use Tax, as authorized by act 2017-120, generally referred to as the State Sales Tax Holiday Legislation.
