We are proud of our police department and its excellent reputation.The Chief of Police is responsible for managing the daily operations of a department consisting of 73 sworn officers and 14 dispatchers and a $10.8 million budget. The ideal candidate will be a visionary experienced administrative law enforcement leader who employs intelligence-led policing strategies to determine the most effective and efficient use of resources to achieve the department's mission.The Chief will grow training opportunities, be actively involved in the community, coordinate law enforcement services with other agencies, and serve others as a positive and encouraging, energetic leader.Read our full recruitment packet.
