On Sunday, March 16, former South Lamar School standout Nealy McManus’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The game took place at Eagle Field. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Jaguar Field against South Alabama Jaguars.
